General people receive tika from Goddess Kumari

On the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, people crowded at the Taleju Bhawani temple of Bhaktapur to receive tika from the living goddess Kumari.

The original head of the temple, Narendra Prasad Joshi, priests, workers, and gurus received the tika from the hands of Ekanta Kumari Luniva Bajracharya during the auspicious hour. Joshi, a native of Taleju, said that there is a tradition of receiving tika from the Kumari before the hands of other people. 

The temple had been open for the general public from 4 pm to 6pm.
