The government has blacklisted 15 construction companies that were not able to complete the projects that they had been awarded the contract for on schedule. The companies were blacklisted by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office as per a decision taken on July 5.
According to the company, three construction companies have been blacklisted for two years and the remaining 12 companies have been blacklisted for one year. The office has also mentioned that during the period that the companies are blacklisted they will not be able to apply for public tenders issued by the government.
