The government has reduced the cost of COVID testing. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, those with symptoms will be tested free of cost in government hospitals and laboratories, while others will be charged Rs 800. Earlier this fee was one thousand.
And the fee of PCR tests in private hospitals has been fixed at Rs 1,500 while earlier Rs 2,000 was charged.
