The government has demanded applications from students for distribution of free electric stoves.
The Alternative Energy Promotion Center of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has published a notice today demanding applications for free distribution of electric stoves to endangered Adivasi Janajati and Dalit students.
The government has started distributing stoves to the endangered Adivasi Janajati and Dalit students studying at undergraduate and postgraduate levels by renting a room in the Kathmandu Valley from outside Kathmandu to relieve the problem of rising price of LP gas and to promote electric stoves.
The Center has demanded to submit the application along with the copy of the certificate of Nepali citizenship, the recommendation of the educational institution and the copy of the student identity card and the copy of the identity card of the endangered Adivasi Janajati and Dalit class by June 23.
