Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand has said that the government was sensitive for the development of the industrial environment in the country.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the National Industrial Exhibition in Butwal on Thursday, Minister Khand stated that such industrial fairs have helped in unveiling the concerns of the industrialists and added that the government was committed to resolving such problems.
Stating that it was a common responsibility of all political parties to address the challenges of industrialists and entrepreneurs, Minister Khand claimed that the first priority of the new government would be ensuring a vibrant economy and promoting industries and business.
He also asked the banks and financial institutions to address the issues of high interest rate through talks and pointed out the need for decreasing high interest rate.
Also speaking at the event, Mayor of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City Khel Raj Pandey said that his team was working to develop Butwal as a prideful city of the country and called for cooperation from all political parties, industrialists and others for the advancement of the Motipur Industrial Estate.
Organized with the purpose to exhibit domestic productions and ensure marketing, the exhibition has a total of 450 stalls of different domestic productions and technology.
The exhibition will also serve as a platform for a direct meeting between the industrialists and buyers and will also see several interaction programmes on promotion and develop qualitative competitions of the produced goods, the organizer said.
The exhibition is expected to see participation of around 700,000 visitors and economic transactions worth Rs 250 million.
