The historic Bokachogadhi in Sipadol of Suryabinayak Municipality-8 is now becoming the destination of choice for domestic tourists.

The fort, which was in a state of disrepair till five years ago, has become an internal destination after the arrival of the people's representative.

Before the invasion of Bhaktapur by Prithvinarayan Shah during the unification of Nepal, the fort was built at a height of 2100 feet above the bunker. With the development of roads and infrastructure, the arrival of domestic tourists has increased and the source of income of the locals has also increased and employment opportunities have started to be created at the local level.

Until five years ago, most of the residents of Lama Basti, who had to walk a straight path through the forest without even an easy goreto road, are now stunned to find a six-meter-wide road. Before attacking Bhaktapur during the unification of Nepal, Prithvinarayan Shah visited the Ashapureshwar Mahadev Temple here, came to Bokachogadhi and built a bunker, looked at Bhaktapur and planned to attack here.

He said, “In the past, this place was very obscure, this is a beautiful place from where not only the entire Bhaktapur, but also the valley and the mountain can be seen. Although this is a historical place, we managed to build a road to the fort after coming to this very hidden place. Now the tower has been built, the temple is being built. ” The Nepal Army has built a tower in Bokachogadhi after the ward reached the road. The fort is a tower in itself, and after the army built the tower on top of it, the scenic view of the valley became clear and the number of domestic tourists increased. It is very crowded here today.

The municipality is constructing Vindhyavasini temple near the tower. The ward has developed the place as a picnic sport and has built a public toilet with the investment of the municipality. There is still a lot of infrastructure to be built here, said Ward Chairman Thapa.

He said, “The bunker inside the fort is now full. It is awaiting excavation. The historical and archeological heritage has not been excavated indiscriminately. The Nepal Army is talking about excavation. The Department of Archeology needs to pay attention to the excavation. ”

Old and historic bricks and stones are still found on the bunker. It needs protection. He said that the municipality is planning for conservation. During the inauguration of the road at Sipadol, Pati Bhanjyang for the first time by constructing a road on Thapa's initiative when he was a member of the then District Development Committee.

The locals are always smiling after the construction of a new road from Ghyampe Danda to Pati Bhanyang, Ashapuri, Kushadevi six kilometers road at a cost of Rs. Sant Bahadur Tamang, a local of the place, said that the place has changed its face after the arrival of the people's representative.

He said, "There was no publicity of Bokacho Gadhi. People did not come here from outside. There was no wide road to walk on. Our fates have turned, and happiness  has come to our faces. ” Residents say that the source of income has started increasing now after the road was built under the initiative of ward chairman Thapa and budget management. Local Kul Bahadur Tamang said that the source of income of the locals has started coming to the village as the number of people coming from far and wide to enjoy Dhindo with local chickens has increased and tea and snacks are being sold.

Similarly, after the construction of 4 km road from Doleshwor to Maligaun and Kankrabari, Maligaun has become a tourist destination. Ward Chairman Thapa says that hotels have started opening in Mali village and the number of domestic tourists has increased. According to the locals, Deepak Sapkota of Ranikot, Ranikot, Pati Bhanjyang, Kushadevi of Kavre, Bokachogadhi and Maligaun Kankrabari are happy with the construction of the road.
