Home Minister garners information on peace, security

Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand has garnered information on peace and security situation of the country. Minister Khand garnered the information from Chief of Army Staff, Purna Chandra Thapa, and Acting Chief of Army Staff, Prabhuram Sharma, holding a meeting in the ministry on Wednesday.

Minister Khand's personal secretary Bijesh Neupane informed that the Home Minister and security chiefs also talked about peace and security and control and treatment of COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Minister for Law, Communications and Province Affairs of Gandaki Province, Bindu Kumar Thapa, met with Minister Khand. During the meeting, issues on ongoing works and future plan in Gandaki Province were discussed.

On the occasion, Province Minister Thapa requested Home Minister Khand to provide anti-COVID vaccines to Gandaki Province considering the tourism activities.

Minister Khand informed that government was serious on providing vaccines against coronavirus to all eligible Nepalis.
