Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane have met with the family of Prem Prasad Acharya of Ilam.
The Acharya of Ilam Panchkanya tried to commit self-immolation by sprinkling petrol on his body in front of the parliament building in New Baneshwar on Tuesday afternoon after writing a suicide note with his autobiography on Facebook. After that, the police took him to the burn hospital in Kirtipur.
More than 80 percent of Acharya's body was consumed by fire.
Home Minister Lamichhane reached the hospital on Wednesday afternoon and met Acharya's family.
