Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan has directed to solve the problem seen at Tribhuvan International Airport.
Home Ministry Spokesperson Phanindra Mani Pokharel informed that the Home Minister has directed the Home Ministry to immediately call the heads of the concerned agencies and resolve the problems at the airport immediately.
Minister Khan gave the directive to Director General of Immigration Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, Chief Immigration Officer of International Airport Pushparaj Shahi, Civil Aviation Authority, General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport Prem Nath Thakur, Chief of Technical Security of the airport Teknath Sitaula and Chief of Corporate Mahendra Khanal.
"The Minister has taken note of the problems at the Tribhuvan International Airport and directed to rectify them immediately," said spokesperson Pokharel. The Home Minister has directed to make necessary arrangements to prevent congestion at the counters of the airport and to solve the problem immediately saying that the ATM machines of the banks inside the airport have broken down.
Spokesperson Pokharel said that he has also instructed to facilitate the service by providing X-ray machine at the international airport immediately. Home Secretary Teknarayan Pandey, Ministry Spokesperson Pokhrel and Chief of Staff Administration Division Tek Bahadur KC were also present at the meeting.
