Home Ministry to take action against DSP

The Ministry of Home Affairs has started preparations for departmental action against a Deputy Superintendent of Armed Police (DSP) working in the technical field.

After DSP Dr. Ashish Koju, who was absent without explanation and now the ministry has started preparing for departmental action.

DSP Koju had been out of touch since 8 December 2022 without informing. After he did not appear, the Armed Police Headquarters put out a notice.

After Koju did not come in contact, the Armed Police Headquarters sent a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs on 9th January 2023 requesting to take the necessary action to remove him from the service.

According to the letter from the armed forces, the Ministry also issued a notice to submit an acquittal with reasons within seven days to proceed with the process.

However, the Home Ministry has ruled that the application sent by Koju via email is not satisfactory and is against the Armed Police Regulations 2073.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked for a seven-day explanation as to why departmental action should not be taken against him, saying that he has acted against the rules.
