A husband and wife were found dead in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 of Chitwan.
Prem Ranamar, aged 27/28, was found hanging and his wife, Shanti Ranamar, aged 24/25, was found dead on the ground at a place called Khetbari behind the office of Bharatpur Ward no. 29.
The police team under the leadership of Chief of Police SP Navraj Adhikari of District Police Office Chitwan is preparing a report of the incident and is investigating.
Locals said that the deceased Prem Bahadur may have committed suicide by hanging himself after beating and killing his wife. A local said that there is a fight between the two.
Prem Bahadur was a wage laborer while his wife was a housewife. They have a son.
