World-renowned mountaineer Kami Rita Sherpa has been awarded with two certificates by the Guinness World Records. He has been awarded a certificate for the most number of ascents to Mt Everest by an individual. Sherpa had scaled the Everest on May 7 this year for the 25th time.
Sherpa also received another certificate from Guinness World Records for scaling mountains of above 8,000 metres for the 38th time. From 1994 till date, Sherpa has climbed peaks of over 8,000 metres on 38 occasions.
