Kanchanpur; Preparations for election in final stage

Preparations for the local level election in Kanchanpur have reached the final stage. Election officials and staffs with election materials have reached various polling stations.

From the office of the Chief Election Officer in Mahendranagar, election officials and staffs have reached 341 polling stations with ballot papers and ballot boxes and other election materials. Chief of the District Election Office, Uday Raj Joshi, said that election-related work was being carried out in all the polling stations. "All the preparations for the election have been completed," he said. According to him, the process of distributing identity cards to new voters and those who have applied for missing persons is underway at the polling station.

It has been stated that the construction work of the polling station has reached the final stage. Of the nine local levels of the district, Kanchanpur has 295,354 voters. Out of which, female voters are one lakh 52 thousand 112 and male voters are one lakh 43 thousand 241. One thousand 705 employees have been deployed in the polling stations of the district.

Chief District Officer of Kanchanpur Ram Prasad Pandey said that necessary security arrangements have been completed in the district for the election. According to him, arrangements have been made to mobilize around 3,000 security personnel in Kanchanpur for the security of the election. He said that the district security committee is working to hold the election in coordination with the Election Commission and the Chief Election Officer.
