The bodies of four members of the same family were found in a horrible condition in Padamasal in Kavresthali on Monday morning. 41-year-old Dinesh Pandey, his 39-year-old wife Sunita, 13-year-old daughter Ashika and eight-year-old son Ashiq died prematurely in that incident.

The specific cause of the unexpected and serious incident is yet to be made public, but the family has ended due to family discord (disagreement between husband and wife). The nature of the incident site, the 10-page suicide note and the statements of the locals have given the basis to confirm that the incident took place due to the breakdown of the relationship. In the suicide note, it is mentioned that he was forced to commit suicide by killing his wife and children. The wife has been accused of it.

According to an investigating officer of the police who reached the spot, based on the suicide note recovered from the scene and the nature of the incident, Dinesh Pandey, the owner of the house, killed his wife and children and committed suicide.

Central Police Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General of Police Tek Prasad Rai says that although it appears that he committed suicide by killing other members, it can only be said after the investigation that this is the reason. Now the police investigation is also focused on the same direction. Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office is also investigating the incident.

Therefore, the Nepal Police conducted an autopsy at the scene of the incident in the presence of Dr. Gopal Choudhary and Ayush Upadhyay, who conducted the autopsy at the Teaching Hospital Maharajganj. The family identified the body after the post-mortem today.

Dinesh's brother Rajendra and Sunita's mother-in-law have filed a complaint in the police circle to investigate the incident and find out the truth. Spokesperson of District Police Complex Kathmandu, Superintendent of Police Dineshraj Mainali says that all the bodies were stabbed with knives, that is, sharp weapons. There are deep injuries in the abdomen, chest, head and other areas.

He said that as the investigation of the incident is still pending, other reasons will be revealed only after that. However, the initial conclusion of the police assigned to the investigation is that he committed suicide after killing his wife and children with a sharp weapon. Dinesh's neck is tied with an electric wire. The wire is tied to the window. It was seen that he tried to hang himself but also stabbed himself. It has been found that he stabbed the stomach in such a way that the organs inside the body came out.

In another room, the dead bodies of the wife and children were found in a horrible condition. The bodies of son and daughter were found on the bed and Sunita's body lying on the floor. Dinesh's body was found in another room. Sunita has a serious injury on her head with a weapon, while her hand has been cut with a knife.  The child also has injuries on his head and other parts.

Their old home is in Bhimsenthapa Rural Municipality of Gorkha. Dinesh's family had built a house here. He returned from working in Kuwait for 12 years only four years ago.

After that, it is said that there is a fight between the husband and wife. Their domestic incident reached the police. When it was about to reach the point of divorce, it was finally stopped, but the fight did not stop. Neighbors say that they have tried to reconcile after quarreling many times.

Currently Sunita was preparing to go to UK. For that, it has been found in the investigation that she sold the fancy shop and closed the account of the cooperative. Dinesh has three brothers. According to the police, the elder Rajendra, Maila Ramesh and Dinesh, two brothers from his other mother's side are currently abroad.
