Sunita Dangol, deputy head of the metropolis, says that close cooperation with organizations that have knowledge, skills and competence in the relevant field will be carried out for the management of community dogs in the city. The number of community dogs is increasing. Currently, the city is conducting a community dog neutering, rabies vaccination and rehabilitation project in collaboration with The Jane Goodall Institute.
Community dogs in the city are found to be malnourished, sick, and have difficulty walking due to accidents.
Such dogs have created problems like biting people, fighting and chasing vehicles.
