Lawmakers draw government's attention to current issues

Lawmakers have drawn the attention of the government to contemporary issues of the country.

Attending today's meeting of the House of Representatives, Abdul Khan viewed that teachers' salaries should not be cut.

Amar Bahadur Thapa drew the attention of the government to resolve problems facing service seekers in acquiring passports.

Mahesh Kumar Bartaula urged the government to address the demands of the protesting farmers in Kalimati.

"The government should ensure the market for agricultural products, and compensations to the affected farmers," he said.

Similarly, Ram Kumar Rai asked the government to launch rescue efforts in flooding and landslides in districts in the eastern part of the country.
