Light rain forecast in five provinces, snowfall in higher altitudes

The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has forecast partly to generally cloudy in Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province and Partly cloudy in rest of the country.

Earlier in the morning, the MFD had predicted light rain at many places of Province 1 and at some places of Province 2, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.

There are also chances of light to moderate snowfall at some places of the high mountainous region.

Likewise, Province 1, Province 2, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province will witness partly to generally cloudy condition while rest of the country will have fair weather tonight.

Likewise, light rain is likely to occur at some places of Province 1, Province 2 and Bagmati Province and at one or two places of Gandaki Province. Some places of the eastern and central high mountainous regions will have light snowfall, the MFD said in the bulletin issued today.

In the last 24 hours, Pokhara Metropolis in Kaski district has recorded the highest 5.8 mm rainfall.

Likewise, the MFD bulletin showed 0.1 mm of rainfall in Kathmandu in the last 24 hours.

The minimum temperature in the capital city was recorded at 5.7-degree Celcius while the maximum temperature at 19.4 degree Celcius.

Jumla has recorded the lowest temperature at -2.5 degree Celcius while Morang's Biratnagar has recorded the highest temperature at 28.2 degree Celcius. in the country.
