Three people have died due to lightning in Parsa district.
A 50-year-old woman died after she was struck by lightning. She was working in a field in Jitpur of Jirabhawani Rural Municipality in the district. Four others were also injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, a 55-year-old man was also killed after he was struck by lightning while he was grazing his buffaloes in Dewarwana of Sakhuwaprasauni Rural Municipality in Parsa. Similarly, a 36-year-old man of Gadiyani Tole in Paterwasugauli Rural Municipality of the same district lost his life when he was struck by a lightning. Another man was injured in the incident.
