Residents of Annapurna rural municipality-6 in Myagdi have donated land worth around Rs 3.5 million to build a building for a police station.
According to the District Police Office, Myagdi, it has received a plot of land measuring four ropani and two ana (one ropani equals to 5476 sq. ft while one ana equals to 342.25 sq ft ) from locals Ganesh Khadka and Shiva Khadka for the construction of the police station's new building.
As per the current market value of the land in the area, contribution by Ganesh is of worth Rs 2.14 million while Shiva's contribution is valued at Rs 1.2 million.
With the acquisition of land, the Office has proposed the upper body to manage funds for undertaking the construction project. ---
