Wooden bridge connecting Chule village and Nilegaon in Chumnuvri rural municipality-7 of Gorkha has been repaired and put into operation by local residents. Lakshmi Gurung, the vice president of the rural municipality, informed that after the severe floods that occurred last Thursday swept away the wooden bridge over the Chule river connecting Chulegaon and Nilegaon, it was repaired and put into operation by the people's representatives and local residents at the initiative of the rural municipality.

After the bridge was washed away by the flood in the river, the connection between the two villages was cut off, he said, "After the necessary coordination by the village council, the people's representatives and the local residents gathered the necessary materials and repaired them again and put them into operation."

Residents of Chule and Nilegaon, who had to travel back and forth for the daily Fair Parm, were stopped at Wari and Pari, due to the lack of a bridge. Vice President Gurung informed that the bridge was put into operation so that the local people could hear their voices after about three days. There is no access to the road network in that rural municipality, so most of the rivers have to be constructed and transported by Wooden Bridge. Every year, the citizens of this place had to face harassment in the neighborhood because the river washed away the wooden bridge after the rains.

About 60 families have been living in those two villages.
