Nepali actor, comedian, writer and singer, Madan Krishna Shrestha has tested positive for coronavirus.

The popular comedian wrote on his Facebook wall to inform his well-wishers, "Five of us including me, my son, daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter have tested positive for coronavirus. It becomes painful after contracting the virus, so please do not take it as a joke. Stay cautious! and thanks to all the well-wishers those who have sent compliments on birthday."
The 71-year-old actor is the most popular stage performer and comedian of his time.
