Kumar Tamang, 32, of Tankure Tamangtol in Indravati-4 has been arrested on Wednesday morning on charges of murdering Min Kumari Khadka, 60, of Sadhkhola in Melamchi Municipality-10.
According to the Area Police Office, Melamchi, Min Kumari and a neighbor woman were out cutting grass when Tamang cursed at them which incited an argument, in which, Tamang hit Min Kumari on her head with stick and stones. She died on the spot.
The on-duty police have taken him under control and are conducting further investigation.
