Police in Darchula district on Thursday evening arrested a man in possession of 28 gm of hashish from Marma Rural Municipality-3.
The arrested has been identified as Padam Bista (43), a local resident of Latinath Bazaar in the same rural municipality.
Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from the Latinath-based Area Police Office nabbed him with the substance.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
