Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Rajendra Lingden and Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Mohan Kwatra, who is on a visit to Nepal, had a courtesy meeting today.
The meeting between Energy Minister Lingden, who is also the chairman of the National Democratic Party (RDP), and Kwatra took place in the office of the Deputy Prime Minister at the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation. During the meeting, relations between the two countries, bilateral interests, and cooperation were discussed, according to Deputy Prime Minister Lingden's secretariat. The discussion was also focused on coordination and cooperation for the development of the energy and water resources sector.
President Lingden welcomed Secretary Kwatra to the office and wished him a successful tenure.
