The meeting of the ruling partner parties has started to reach a consensus on issues including cabinet expansion. The meeting started a while ago at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Chairman of CPN (UML) KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of National Independent Party and Deputy Prime Minister Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party Rajendra Lingden and Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party Upendra Yadav are participating in the meeting.
Prime Minister Dahal and UML President Oli had a discussion on issues including cabinet expansion today. After a long discussion at Oli's residence, Balkot, Prime Minister Dahal said that an agreement would be reached today on the expansion of the cabinet. Deputy Prime Minister Bishnu Paudel also said that a meeting will be held today and a consensus will be sought. Dahal was appointed as the Prime Minister on January 10. Prime Minister Dahal formed a small-sized cabinet on 11th January last. He took the vote of confidence from the House of Representatives on 26th January last.
