Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha inspected the damage caused by the flood in Waragung Muktikshetra Rural Municipality (Kagbeni) in Mustang on Tuesday.
Due to incessant rains, Kagkhola floods have caused billions of damages including houses, agricultural produce, public and commercial structures, hotels, bridges, schools, police stations, livestock, vehicles, monasteries, Kagbeni shrines, drinking water, irrigation and cash and other material goods. Home Minister Shrestha also expressed his commitment to the long-term reconstruction of the historical pilgrimage site. There was no human loss here after getting the flood information on time.
