During this year's monsoon, there is a possibility of less than average rainfall in most parts of the country. The Department of Water and Meteorology under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation organized a program here today and projected the climate assessment of this year's monsoon.
Since 2013, every year before the onset of monsoon, the department has been organizing the 'National Monsoon Forum' and has been communicating the climate assessment of the monsoon season to stakeholders.
