Monsoon to be more active from tonight

The Department of Water and Meteorology has issued a bulletin stating that the monsoon has been active in Nepal for the past one or two days due to the low pressure line of the monsoon near the eastern Terai region of Nepal.

According to the department, the low pressure line will be closer to the Terai region from tonight and will remain in the same area for a few days, so there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many parts of the country.

The Meteorological Department has requested to take necessary precaution as there is a possibility of heavy rain in Provinces No. 1, 2, Bagmati, Gandaki and some parts of Lumbini Province and a few places in the Far West and Karnali Province as well. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in many places across the country with light to moderate rain at night.
