Arun Kumar Chaudhary, a member of the House of Representatives and a whip of the Civil Liberation Party, has been jailed.
Chaudhary, who was in the custody of Kailali District Police Office on Thursday evening, was present in Kailali District Court today and sent to Dhangadhi Jail on bail.
Chaudhary, who is on the absconding list, was arrested from Banke on Thursday. Chaudhary was arrested by the police and taken to Kathmandu by plane from Nepalganj.
He was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Kailali Region No. 2.
