MP Chandrakant Bhandari, who was injured due to gas burns and was treated for a long time, addressed the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday. In the meeting of the House of Representatives, the discussion on the policies and programs of the government for the next financial year is continuing.
Participating in the discussion on the policies and programs of the coming year presented by President Ram chandra Paudel in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament, he demanded to build a hospital with all facilities for the treatment of burns.
MP Bhandari, who was injured due to gas burns and returned to India for treatment, asked for the construction of a well-equipped burn hospital in the country.
He said that he also informed Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' about this after he returned from treatment for burns. He informed that 110 people died last year due to gas and other burns. MP Bhandari submitted the statistics that 111 people have died this year alone.
He said, "Gas and electricity reached villages. No one can teach anyone what to do and what not to do.
How to burn gas, how to burn electricity course makers, everyone needs to take immediate action on this."
MP Bhandari thanked the current government and all well-wishers for rescuing him and bringing him to the present situation. Stating that the hospital where he was treated is run by father and son and is the best in South Asia, MP Bhandari again drew the attention of the government to build a hospital with similar facilities in the country.
He mentioned that in the last three years only three people have reached the ventilator and survived and said that there are good health workers in Nepal as well. Stating that until now the hospital in Kirtipur is providing treatment for burns, he demanded that the patients of burns be included in the treatment support given by the government.
He drew the attention of the government through the speaker to arrange for an automatic regulator in cooking gas and to make a law for that.
