All billing counters of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) have been closed today. They will remain shut till Sunday, December 20.
According to the NEA, the revenue collection counters have been closed because of a pending update of the billing system which will be fixed in 5 days.
It was mentioned in a notice that NEA has decided to close the revenue collection counters, as a new electricity tariff has been fixed, which is going into effect from December 16, and the revised tariff rate has to be updated in the system of Nepal Electricity Authority.
