Nepal calls upon Israel and Palestine for maximum restraint

Nepal has expressed its concern over the escalating tensions between Israel and Palestine, urging both sides to exercise utmost restraints to find an outlet to the ongoing violent standoff.

Issuing a press statement here today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called upon both sides to remain calm to avoid further casualties and destruction.

Nepal has also urged Israel and Palestine to resort to peaceful means to resolve the problem in the context of the conflict that ensued between Israel and Palestine since Monday during which over 65 fatalities have been reported as well as a huge loss of properties.
