Nepal Police distributes 11,090 free masks

The Nepal Police has distributed 11,090 masks in the last 24 hours as part of its anti-COVID campaign ‘where is your mask?

Considering the potential risks of coronavirus, the Nepal Police had initiated the campaign with the slogan ‘Let us protect ourselves and others from coronavirus infection’ so as to check the spread of the contagion.

Under the campaign that started on April 19 this year, as many as 1,479,565masks have been distributed so far across the country, the police headquarters news desk shared.

In addition to mask distribution, the police had sensitized 13,029 people through 65 different awareness programs, including mike announcements, placards, pamphlets, and leaflets in the last 24 hours.
