The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Tuesday confirmed the detection of 357 new cases of coronavirus infection. Out of which, 89 people have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 in the antigen test.
Likewise, the MoHP has recorded 1 new death from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. The ministry on May 19, 2021, recorded 0 deaths, the highest daily number. As of Tuesday, the nationwide death toll from COVID-19 has reached 11,954. Presently, there are 1982 active cases in Nepal.
