National Assembly chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina said Nepal's land was fertile for all purposes.
All castes, ethnicities and religions have right to grow and prosper in the country for Nepal being a fertile land, he added.
In his address to a national unity summit organized at Parasi in Nawalparasi-West, he said no ethnic and religious groups had been kept under pressure in Nepal.
"All should engage in protecting their fundamental religion and culture. Nepal is such a garden where diverse kinds of flowers blossom. Al should work together to end anomalies and discriminations", propping up in the name of religion, NA Chairperson Timilsina said.
Conflict has emerged in some parts of the country in the name of religion but all should play role to avert such situation, he further noted.
"Nepal is a beautiful garden with unity. All sides should act together to keep it intact", he said, adding, "All religions should move ahead based on their faith. No one should defame and suppress others. No one should attempt to convert religious faiths in the name of poverty".
All religious leaders were invited to the program in an attempt to maintain religious and national unity. ---
