Nepali Embassy in Kuwait halts services

Services for which service seekers have to visit the embassy in person have been halted until further notice.

The Nepali Embassy in Kuwait has halted all services for which service seekers have to visit the embassy in person until further notice.

Services like renewal of passports and verification of documents, among others, have been halted by the embassy until further office. The embassy has informed that despite taking all necessary precautions against the coronavirus pandemic there had been instances of some staff of the embassy being infected. Hence, keeping in mind the safety of embassy officials and service seekers all services wherein a person has to be present physically at the embassy has been halted.

Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the embassy had been providing all its services by adopting the health safety protocols that were set by the Kuwaiti government. The embassy has requested service seekers who are in need of any emergency service to get relevant information through its hotline number, telephone number or email.
