The Indian Army has issued a notice calling for interested women candidates to register themselves to join the Women Military Police wing. The notice has also been published in the Nepali language targeting interested Nepali women to join the military police.
The registration form needs to be submitted online by July 20. However, interested candidates will have to travel to either Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Belgaun, Pune or Shillong for the selection process. The age criterion for the registration has been set at 17-and-a-half years to 21 years.
Meanwhile, the candidates must have at least secondary level education and their height must be at least 152 cm. However, the notice states that the height criterion for Gorkha women will be relaxed by 4 cm.
