Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) facilitated Rs 22 billion worth of new notes for the public for Dashain from 29th August.
According to Revati Prasad Nepal, Executive Director of Rashtra Bank Currency Management Department, 12 billion rupees of small rate notes will be exchanged this year during Dashain. She further added that 10 billion worth of high-rate notes (500 and 1000) were approved.
