New questions for teaching license in Nepal

Teachers Service Commission has decided to modify the syllabus of the teaching license and ask only objective questions. The commission has stated that this decision has been implemented since March 16.

Earlier, the commission used to ask 60 per cent thematic and 40 per cent objective questions. From now on, 50 objective questions will be asked at the rate of two points per question. Accordingly, the examination will be of 100 integers. You have to bring 50 marks to pass.

Deputy Secretary of the Teachers Service Commission and Information Officer Sudarshan Marhattha informed that it has been decided to ask only objective questions in the teaching license examination of secondary and lower secondary level. "The decision was taken by the commission," said Marhattha.

The Teachers Service Commission has been conducting the examination of teaching license since 2061 BS.
