Non-Resident Ambassador of Holy See (Vatican City) to Nepal, Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli, paid a courtesy call on Vice-President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav on Monday.
During the meeting held at the official residence of the Vice-President at Lainchaur, Vice-President Yadav pointed out that both countries believing in World Peace, tolerance and broader human welfare should stand in favour of World Peace with commitment, reads a press statement issued by the Office of the Vice-President.
He expressed the belief that Nepal's campaign to taking the message of peace of Lord Gautam Buddha across the globe would get further support from the Vatican City.
Laying emphasis on moving ahead by strengthening friendly relations and collaboration between the two countries, the Vice-President noted that there was a possibility of further collaboration in different areas including climate change and greenery promotion in the international forum.
He further expected active role of Ambassador Girelli to further strengthen various dimension of bilateral relations.
