A person has been arrested from Bhaktapur on charges of misusing Facebook.
A person who committed character assassination by putting obscene photos and videos on a fake Facebook ID has been arrested.
He created a fake Facebook ID and posted the photos and videos publicly by using the obscene photos and videos taken under different pretexts to become friends by sending friend requests to the girl friends on the social network Facebook.
Susan Chowguthi, 25, Bhaktapur, who was involved in character assassination by sending the same photos and videos to the victim's relatives, has been arrested and sent to Nepal Police Headquarters, Cyber Bureau, Bhotahiti for necessary investigation and action for the offense under the Electronic Transactions Act.
