Tejendra Mahat, a resident of Chandragiri Municipality, has been arrested by the police on the charge of defrauding him of 19 lakhs by saying that he would send it to France.
Mahat said it would cost 10 lakh rupees per person to go to France for foreign employment, and after reaching France, he would take up fruit keeping work in a prestigious agricultural company.
The police arrested him for defrauding 3 victims of a total of 19 lakh rupees.
