One person has died in a mini truck accident at Kotwada of Narharinath Gaonpalika-1 in Kalikot district. The mini-truck (Ba 5 Kha 4643) heading towards Suntharali Airport from Lalighat Bazaar of Karnali Corridor met with an accident at Kotwada.
The deceased has been identified as Jaya Bahadur Bista, 58, of Narharinath-1, Kotbada. Four people were in the truck and the truck owner Netra Bahadur Bista was injured, according to police. The injured Bista is being brought to District Hospital, Kalikot for further treatment, police said.
Local Jaman Singh Bista said that a mini truck carrying construction materials for the Suntharali Airport under construction had been in an accident. The driver and co-driver of the mini-truck are safe, police said.
