A person has died in a landslide at Kalekhola of Shubhkali village municipality-1 on the Karnali Highway.
Bimala Sunar, 25, of Gaonpalika-1 died on a landslide on Karnali Highway at around 5 this morning.
According to Chakra Bahadur Shah, Chief of Police, District Police Office, Kalikot, the goldsmith died on the way to the District Hospital, Kalikot.
According to Kalikot Police Chief Shah, the Karnali Highway connecting Surkhet and Jumla has been blocked at two places due to heavy rains. "The landslide has hit Kalekhola on the border of Dailekh and Kalikot in the morning," he said
The landslide is being averted now, said Police Chief Shah.
