A doctor has been arrested on the charge of becoming a doctor by making a fake educational qualification certificate. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested him from Kathmandu.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Navraj Adhikari informed that Dr. Poonam Thapa was arrested. According to him, Thapa was arrested today from Kathmandu.
The bureau has started an operation against making fake educational certificates. According to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB), the number of people arrested along with Thapa in the case of taking certificates has reached eight. According to police, seven people including Congress MP Sunil Sharma have been arrested.
