One person has been arrested with 12 kg of drugs from Bagthala, Vithadchir rural municipality-8 in the district. The arrested person is 43-year-old Birendra Bahadur Khadayat of Shailyashikhar Municipality-1, Darchula.
The regular investigation team deployed at the temporary police station Bagthala arrested him on Wednesday. Gyan Bahadur Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Bajhang, said that when he was checked by the police working at the temporary police station, he was found to be in possession of drugs when he was on the Sudurpaschim Pradesh 02001B 1119 bus, which was going to Mahendranagar from Bajhang headquarters Chainpur.
