Online token system launched in Chitwan

An online token system has been launched at the Transportation Management Services Office Chitwan as the corona infection rate is increasing in the district. The office has implemented online tokens to make the service easier and more crowded.

An online token has been launched for driver's license and vehicle renewal. An online token for licensing had already been launched at the office. Binod Poudel, head of the office, said that online tokens have been introduced in-vehicle renewals as the risk of covid infection has increased. He informed that online tokens have been started to renew 30 vehicles and 13 licenses in one hour. He said, "We have started online tokens following the order of the local administration to provide the service without crowding more than 25 people at a time due to the increase in covid." Tokens have been made mandatory so that services are not disrupted due to congestion.

He said that there is a plan to reduce the congestion so that the office will not be closed due to Covid. The service recipients can easily get the online token by visiting the website of the office. By clicking on the website's visit management system, they can get the token by entering the name, mobile number, the service they want to get, and the date of receiving the service.

Office system 15 people per hour

Manages time to serve. At the same time, they can go to the office and get the service. He added, "The system gives time. The first 15 people are given time from 10 to 11 o'clock, the second 15 people are given time from 11 to 12 o'clock in this way. He said that the service is being provided only after bringing online tokens. The office had started the license renewal service on November 27. The online token has been launched since November 29 with the launch of the service.

At present, more than 60 people come to the office daily for consultation on license renewal services. Of them, more than 40 have been receiving renewal services daily. The office has so far renewed more than 600 licenses. The office is providing both paper card and smart license renewal services.
