A book on 'parliament committee system: National Assembly special’ has been launched on Friday.
The book, published by the federal parliament secretariat, has incorporated viewpoints of National Assembly chairpersons and other members and experts. The parliament committee system has been interpreted through the eye of experts who have cited the development of the committee so far and international practices of the system in Australia, the United States of America, and India.
Similarly, the book has featured interrelation between the federal, provincial, and local levels, sustainable development, delegated management, rights and representation of the people with disabilities and effectiveness of the parliament committee system.
Reviewing the book, the Federal Parliament Secretariat General Secretary Dr Bharat Raj Gautam said that the book had incorporated views and experiences of chairs of the parliamentary committees on the parliament committee system.
