The District Hospital of Bajura has decided to give 10 percent discount on medicines to the patients coming to the hospital for treatment with effect from today, said Man Bahadur Karki, newly appointed chairman of the hospital management committee.
At present, 70 types of medicines are available free of cost in the hospital and it has been decided to give 10 percent discount on the purchase of other medicines, said Chairman Karki. Karki said that the hospital will be made people-oriented. Karki said that a 50-bed section was under construction
Chairman Karki said that he would take the initiative with the state government for permission to run nursing classes in the hospital. Chief of the Hospital Dr Prakash Raj Joshi said that the citizens would benefit from the 10 percent discount. Dr. Joshi informed that there are 750 types of medicines in the hospital's pharmacy.
