A pedestrian has died after being hit by a tipper in Palpa. Police said that 69-year-old Hom Bahadur Lamtange died on the spot after being hit by a tipper on the road section of Ribdikot rural municipality.
Lamtange was hit by a tipper which was carrying limestone from Siddheshwar mine towards Butwal on Sunday morning.
He was hit by a tipper while walking on the road. According to the District Police Office, the tipper and the driver have been arrested and further investigation is underway.
